Ecosystem​

Smart EV Skilling Centre

The Smart EV Skilling Centre aims to build an MSME-focused hub for EV skill development in collaboration with ni-msme, industry partners, and international institutions. As the ecosystem enabler, RICH defines the program framework, coordinates partnerships, and facilitates CSR funding for lab setups. The initiative empowers students from Tier 2 & 3 regions with employable EV skills, fosters global collaboration, and bridges academia with industry through internships, international certifications, and hands-on training.

COE On AI for Sustainability

This initiative aims to establish a Centre of Excellence on AI for Sustainability, focused on advancing AI applications in smart cities, energy, waste and water management, and governance. RICH ensures strong alignment between research and industry, provides domain expertise in sustainability, life sciences, and agriculture, and facilitates data access between municipalities, civic bodies, and IIT Hyderabad. The project promotes industry-oriented research, open AI models for public use, and robust data-sharing frameworks—strengthening India’s readiness for an AI-driven sustainable future.

International Centre on Green Energy​

This Centre of Excellence focuses on advancing green energy through research in energy materials, storage, efficiency, and transition technologies. RICH leads the initiative by bringing together industry funders and global research partners, ensuring alignment between innovation and industry needs. The project drives clean tech entrepreneurship, accelerates technology transfer, and fosters skilled talent development—positioning India as a key player in energy transition, decarbonisation, and sustainable innovation.
